Our law enforcement agencies in Mendocino County are seeking qualified officers to join forces in this supportive community. The Public Safety Foundation assists our Sheriff’s office and Police departments in recruiting and training. While our focus has been to develop local talent by funding academy courses, there remains a need for more experienced personnel to fill higher level positions. We welcome newcomers to consider the benefits of working and living in our beautiful rural area. The following four agencies work in partnership with the Foundation: Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, Ukiah PD, Fort Bragg PD and Willits PD. Additionally, the Board has agreed to post jobs of our local tribal police colleagues, as shown below.
